About Copper Sage CPA
I'm Kristin Winstanley, licensed CPA and founder of Copper Sage CPA. I do monthly bookkeeping for women running service businesses, and I tell them what their numbers mean. AI helps along the way as a financial co-pilot, never a replacement for judgment.
I spent 20+ years in corporate accounting, doing everything from accounts payable to financial analysis, helping business units and executives understand the numbers. Then I realized something.
The hardest part was never the math. It was translating the jargon and replacing it with confidence in the story the numbers were telling.
Copper Sage CPA exists because too many women build incredible businesses while quietly wondering: "Am I actually making money?"
Traditional accounting often begins with compliance and reporting. I begin with understanding. I keep your books clean and current, then I sit down with you every month and translate. The business becomes more than profitable. It becomes intentional.
For women who'd rather learn to do it themselves, I built Finance Flow Lab: a community and practice for running your own monthly money ritual. Same philosophy, different door.
When you work with Copper Sage CPA, the person doing your monthly books, reading them, and telling you what they mean is a licensed CPA. That pays off most when tax season comes around.
I don't prepare or file tax returns, so you'll keep your tax preparer. But because I speak their language, I cut down the back-and-forth that usually makes taxes miserable. Your books are reconciled, the right items are flagged along the way, and everything is ready to hand off.
Before Copper Sage CPA, I built budgets and ran the analysis for multi-million dollar companies, including several publicly traded ones, where SOX compliance, documentation and auditors were part of the job. Your books get that same standard.
